Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers press service chief, Akif Ali, announced that by a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the period of March 20 to Monday, March 26, 2007, inclusively, would be non-working public holidays througout Azerbaijan, on the occasion of Novruz.
A cabinet of ministers decision of December 19, 2006, had already declared the period from March 20-24, 2007, to be public holidays, with the addition of Monday, March 26, because the 24th is a Saturday (27-Dec-2006).
