The Bahamas lower house of Parliament has approved the National Heroes Bill and the National Honours Bill, followed by the Senate of the Bahamas on the following day.
The "The National Heroes Bill" was introduced to the Bahamas House of Assembly, two years ago (10-Oct-2005), with debate on the 2 aforementioned bills beginning simultaneously, last summer (27-Jul-2006).
