(Posted on Thursday, April 26, 2007)

Source: Agencia Boliviana de Información (La Paz)

The Bolivian Ministry of Labour announced, yesterday, that Bolivia would not move the observance of Labour Day (Día del Trabajador) from May 1 to Monday, April 30, 2007.

Recall that in 2004, and after a lot of hesitation, the Governement of Bolivia issued Decreto Supremo 27468 making Monday, May 3, 2004, a one-off public holiday (29-Apr-2004).
