and many others) Although Maundy Thursday, April 5, the day before Good Friday, is not an official national public holiday in Brazil, over the last 2 weeks, many states, regions and municipalities have declared it to be a public holiday locally.

We would therefore recommend that anyone planning a business trip to Brazil, consider that day as a day when business life might be severely affected.
