Ivory Coast President Asked To Declare July 30 Public Holiday

Ivory Coast's Prime Minister, Guillaume Soro, announced today that he would petition the President of The Ivory Coast, Laurent Gbagbo, to make Monday, July 30, 2007, a one-off public holiday to allow as many people as possible to participate in the "Flamme de la Paix" ceremony in Bouaké.
