Ivory Coast Declares July 30 One-Off Public Holiday

Earlier today, Ivory Coast's President, Laurent Gbagbo, issued Decree No 2007/532 declaring an exceptional public holiday for Monday, July 30, 2007, all over the national territory.

This one-off public holiday was declared to allow as many people as possible to participate in the "Flamme de la Paix" ceremony in Bouaké (25-Jul-2007).
