Canada's Manitoba Province New Public Holiday On Third Monday In February

(Posted on Saturday, April 28, 2007)

Source: Press Communique of the Province of Manitoba

The date of the new annual provincial public holiday in the Canadian province of Manitoba seems now fixed as the third Monday in February.

The legislation for this new public holiday, announced earlier this month by Manitoba's Labour Minister, Nancy Allan (08-Apr-2007), would coincide with the Family Day provincial public holidays of Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
