Canada's Family Day Public Holiday Will Extend To Ontario In 2008

Beginning in 2008, Ontario will join the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, in observing a public holiday on the third Monday of February.

This public holiday is called Family day in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario, while Manitoba's recently voted public holiday is to be called Louis Riel Day (26-Sep-2007).
