The government of the Cayman Islands has gazetted the Public Holidays Law (2007 Revision) which consolidates all the public holidays legislation of the Cayman Islands from 1963 to 2006.
The laws being consolidated are: Cap. 140 of the 1963 Labour Code Revised Edition, and Law 4 of 1967, Law 35 of 1967, Law 29 of 1977, Law 1 of 1984 and Law 27 of 2002, and with the Public Holidays Order, 2002, the Public Holidays (No.2) Order, 2002, the Public Holidays Order, 2003, the Public Holidays Order, 2004 and the Public Holidays Order, 2006 (20-May-2006).
The Public Holidays Law (2007 Revision) thus replaces the Public Holidays Law (2005 Revision) (12-Jul-2005).
