China Unofficially Observing Ching Ming Holiday

Although Chingming (April 5, 2007) is not one of China's official public holidays, the CAAC has announced that, on the occasion of that traditional festival (in China) and public holiday (in Taiwan), a total of 42 chartered flights from Taiwan to China would be organized by 11 different airlines.

The pricipal cities covered in China are Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xiamen, while in Taiwan, the cities are Taipei and Kaohsiung.
