Tourism and hotel related stocks have reacted positively to the news that the Golden Week public holidays were being reviewed.
Weeklong, Golden Week, public holidays were introduced in 1999 (20-Sep-1999), in an effort to boost internal tourism and domestic consumption, but have come under fire and are currently being reviewed (01-Jul-2007).
