The municipal government of Weifang has decided to give government employees, doctors, teachers and other people working in public institutions the day off to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, although those few (190,000 out of 8 million) who were given Tuesday off were made to work last Saturday.

The city of Weifang, in eastern China, is famous for its kite-making.
