Costa Rica Debates Changing Public Holidays Back To Fixed Dates

(Posted on Thursday, June 14, 2007)

Source: Telenoticias

The Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica is moving ahead with a revision of this year's decision to make some of the Costa Rica public holidays move to the nearest Monday (specifically: April 11, July 25, August 15, and October 12).

But for the moment, the dates of these holidays remain as specified, on the nearest Monday, as per the law passed in 2005 (17-Mar-2005).
