Ecuador Changes Dates Of Carnival Public Holidays' Recuperation

This year's 2 compensation Saturdays set as recuperation for the 2 Carnival public holidays, were changed to March 10 and 17, by President Rafael Correa, through the Executive Decree 113 of February 14, amending article 2 of Executive Decree 2369 of January 12, 2007.

Originally (12-Feb-2007), the 2 days of Carnival (February 19 and 20), to be observed by both the private and public sectors, were to be compensted by 2 working Saturdays, on February 24 and March 3.
