The Labour and Social Affairs Ministry of Hungary has released the official list of bridge, and other one-off, public holidays for the year 2008, along with the list of Saturdays that will be regular working days, in compensation.
In 2008, there will be 3 bridge public holidays in Hungary; in May, October, and December. All 3 compensating Saturdays worked before the date of the corresponding bridge public holiday.
The system of bridge public holidays, compensated by working Saturdays, was introduced in Hungary starting last year (12-Sep-2006).
