The office of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has announced that the State Government of Uttar Pradesh had declared March 15 as a public holiday in memory of Bahujan Samaj Party founder Kanshi Ram Ji.
The date of the announcement was based on the first death anniversary of Manyawar Shri Kanshi Ram Ji, on October 9, 2007.
