Iran 2007-2008 Public Holidays

(Posted on Thursday, March 8, 2007)

Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly has approved the list of official public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1388, running from March 2007, to March 2008.

The list of official public holidays is relatively unchanged since Persian year 1385 (13-Mar-2006), with a few public holidays based on the Islamic Calendar moved to the following day.

As was the case last year (13-Mar-2006), the current list still includes all five annual public holidays meant to have been cancelled in 2005 by Iran's Majles Social Committee (18-Aug-2005 and 13-Apr-2005).
