Monaco's State Ministry has published the list of official public holidays (liste des jours chômés et payés) in Monaco for the calendar year 2008.
As per custom (08-Dec-2006), the "Communiqué n° 2007-11 du 26 octobre 2007 relatif à la liste des jours chômés et payés pour l'année 2008", published in Issue No.7833 of the Journal de Monaco, clarifies the status of fixed-date public holidays occurring on a Saturday or a Sunday, for the year 2008.
Of note, this communiqué does not offer any compensation for the fact that, in 2008, Ascension Day and Labour Day occur on the same date, as did Belgium (24-Apr-2007).
