On the occasion of the Me Mo Phaklo 2134 (Lhosar 2007), Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Pradip Kumar Gyawali, extended best wishes to the Sherpa community, and disclosed a recent decision taken by the Government of Nepal, by which a public holiday would be given to the Sherpa community during their festivals.
