In 2007, government offices will continue to shut-down every non-payday Friday, under a system called Austerity Holiday, under which civil servants are forced to take unpaid days off.
This plan, implemented under Public Law 15-24, in September 2006, was reconducted for FY2007.

Saipan Austerity Fridays To Continue In 2007
