The Chamber of Deputies has postponed to next Monday, the third and last reading of the bill to move some mid-week fixed-date public holidays to the nearest Monday.
The bill got its 2nd reading yesterday and it had been hoped that the final vote would occur immediately (17-Nov-2007 and 21-Nov-2007).
Therefore, the Independence Day public holiday will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 28, this year again.
