Peru's Vice-President indicated that a special security plan would be put in place, to coincide with the upcoming APEC meeting to be held in Lima, in November 2008.
In 2004, Chile declared a municipal holiday on Friday, November 19, 2004, in Chile's capital, Santiago, to coincide with that year's upcoming APEC Summit (28-Oct-2004).
