Earlier this month, Proclamation No. 1362 declared Wednesday, September 12, 2007, as the the National Day of Prayer and Reconciliation, however, it has now become evident that this will not be a public holiday.
On the other hand, Friday, August 24, 2007, has been declared as a special non-working day in Kidapawan City, to coincide with that city's 6th Timpupo Festival.
