President James Alix Michel has announced the dissolution of the National Assembly in Seychelles to prepare for early legislative election, which will take place within the next three months instead of mid-October, the time the election would have taken place if the Assembly was allowed to complete its mandate.
We expect the date of the polls to be declared a public holiday throughout the Seychelles.
