Finance Minister, Chalongphob Sussangkarn, said all banks and financial institutions would be open on Monday, August 20, 2007.
Recall that when the government declared a one-off public holiday for Monday, August 20, 2007, the Finance Ministry and the Bank of Thailand had decided to meet later to decide whether markets and banks would remain open (07-Aug-2007).
