(Posted on Thursday, March 8, 2007)

Source: Thanh Nien Daily

The Vietnamese National Assembly’s Standing Committee has agreed to submit a proposal to the house’s full session to make the 10th of the third lunar month a new public holiday to mark the death anniversary of its 18 legendary founding Hung Kings.

This follows last month's proposal by the Vietnamese government (02-Feb-2007), and is set to occur during the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Standing Committee's session, which comprises the house’s full-time members, and which will open on March 20th.
