Members of the National Assembly agreed to make the amendment which makes the Lunar March 10 a public holiday, effective beginning in 2007, on April 26.
The Assembly had already approved the new public holiday, last week (24-Mar-2007), but in its original form, the law would have meant that the new public holiday would only take effect in 2008.
