Earlier today, the Prime Minister issued a circular that confirms the Ashura dates of Friday and Saturday, January 18-19, 2008.
In addition, , as the aforementioned dates fall of the 2 weekly weekend days of Bahrain (02-Aug-2006), Government Ministries and establishments will get 2 extra days off work, on Sunday and Monday, January 20-21, 2008, as compensation.
