Cyprus' President, Demetris Christofias, has declared a one-off public holiday, on Monday, December 15, 2008, to coincide with the funeral of the ex-President of Cyprus, Tassos Papadopoulos, who earlier today.
Government Spokesman, Stefanos Stefanou, added that the cabinet had also declared a three-day mourning period during which flags on schools and public buildings will fly at half-mast.
