Gibraltar's Chief Minister Peter Caruana, announced that the one-off public holiday to celebrate Gibraltar's victory against the EU in a tax case dating from 2002, would be celebrated on Monday, January 12, 2009.
Earlier this week (18-Dec-2008), Chief Minister Caruana had announced January 5th as the date of this one-off public holiday, but gave no details as to the reason for the change of date.
