The Central Bank of Indonesia has announced that the 2 public holidays previously announced for Monday, September 29, 2008, and Friday, December 26, 2008, will revert to being normal working days.
It is not clear, yet, if this is limited to banks and financial institutions, or if this is part of the ongoing governments efforts to reduce the number of joint leave public holidays introduced in 2002 (05-Feb-2008).
