All government offices, schools and universities will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, January 7 and 8, 2008, as the temperature is expected to fall as low as minus 11 degrees Celsius in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
Presidential and ministerial offices, banks and medical centers will remain open.
