Jordan's Prime Minister, Nader Dahabi, issued a statement announcing that contrary to earlier announcements, the upcoming Eid al-Adha Public Holidays in Jordan would run from December 7 to December 11, 2008, inclusively.
The dates of December 8-12 had been announced by former Prime Minister, Marouf Bakhit, last year at the same time as he announced the dates of public holidays in Jordan for the period of 2007-2011 (16-Feb-2007).
However, this is not the first time that this 5-year forward plan has been modified (see, for example, 16-Sep-2008 and 04-Jan-2008).
