Macedonia's Ministry of Labor and Social Policy has issued a press release confirming that, contrary to what often happens, there would be no additional non-working day off, this year, even though the August 2, Republic Day public holiday falls on a Saturday.
The press release was deemed necessary due to widespread confusion as to the specific provisions of the "2007 Law on Holidays" (08-Feb-2007).
