Nepal's Home Minister, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, has announced that the government is about to announce a four-day public holiday keeping in view the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) on April 10.
As Saturday is already the weekly day off in Nepal, and Sunday is a public holiday (Nepali New Year), this 4-day public holiday declaration is actually the declaration of Friday, April 11, 2008, as a bridge public holiday.
