The government of Nepal has officially declared tomorrow, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, as the first occurrence of Eid al Fitr (End of Ramadan) as a public holiday in Nepal.
We had announced the occurrence of this new public holiday in our post of December 28, 2007, but there was a lot of recent confusion as to whether this would actually occur or not.
