The 2008 APEC meeting will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 22-23, in Peru's capital, Lima.
As was the case in Sydney last year (12-Sep-2006), local media are expecting the government to declare a municipal public holiday on either of the 2 days flanking the week-end, Friday November 21, and Monday, November 24, 2008.
