The Philippines' Commission on Elections (Comelec) has indicated that it expected Friday, January 2, 2009, to be declared a bridge public holiday in the Philippines.
This one more sign (20-Nov-2008) of the growing expectations in all circles that Friday, January 2, will soon be declared a one-off public holiday.
