Romania's lower house of parliament (Camerei Deputatilor) has adopted a law that adds the 2 days of Pentecost, Whitsunday and Whitmonday, to the official list of public holidays in Romania.
This decision, which takes effect immediately in 2008, was initiated by the Senate, way back in 2004 (24-Feb-2004).
The lower house's decision in such cases is final.
