The government of Spain's autonomous region of La Rioja has released the list of its 2009 public holidays.
This year, the traditional regional public holiday of Santiago Apostol (July 25) will be replaced by San José (March 19) while the bridge day of December 7, sandwiched between the public holidays of December 6 and 8, will also be a public holiday.
