The list of official public sector holidays in Venezuela has been gazetted for the calendar year 2008.
As per custom (18-Jan-2007), the aforementioned Venezuelan list of official public sector holidays ("días no laborales para los funcionarios de la Administración Pública Nacional, durante el año 2008") includes the Monday and Tuesday of Carnival, which is not a non-working public holiday in the private sector.
