The Labour Relations Executive Director for the Australian State of Western Australia, Bob Horstman, has published a circular proclaiming the official dates of the Queen's Birthday public holiday for 2011-2013.
Recall that, due to possible conflicts with the annual Perth Show Day, Section 5 of the Public and Bank Holidays Act of 1972, requires that the date of the Queen's Birthday public holiday needs to be appointed annually by proclamation.
Indeed, the 2011 date announced in the aforementioned proclamation, deviates by a week from the date one would traditionally have expected.
