The Kwame Nkrumah Foundation (KNF) has renewed calls on Ghana's President, John Atta Mills, to declare a public holiday on September 21, the birth date of Ghana's first president, Kwame Nkrumah.
Other organizations have made the same call in the past (01-Feb-2007), but this year's calls have an added element of urgency as 2009 will see the 100th anniversary of Kwame Nkrumah's birth.
