Greece Announces Year-End Financial Holidays

Greece's HELEX (the Central Securities Depository) and the Athens Exchange will be closed all day on December 24, 2009, and will close early on December 31, 2009.

The Bank of Greece and the rest of the country, will, however, operate as usual on these days, as per its list of official non-working public holidays announced last summer (21-Jul-2008).
