The government of India's state of Jammu and Kashmir has declared all upcoming Lok Sabha elections polling days as public holidays in their respective districts.
April 16 will be a public holiday in Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch and Samba districts, while April 23 will be observed as a public holiday in Udhampur, Doda, Kathua, Ramban, Kishtwar and Reasi districts.
