India Polling Day Public Holidays In Jammu and Kashmir

India's State government of J&K (Jammu and Kashmir) has declared that all polling days for the coming Lok Sabha elections would be public holidays on the dates and in the concerned districts.

The dates and districts concerned are: April 16 (Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch and Samba districts), April 23 (Udhampur, Doda, Kathua, Ramban, Kishtwar and Reasi districts), April 30 (Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian districts), May 7 (Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal districts), and May 13 (Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora and Leh-Kargil districts).
