Pakistan Declares Additional Eid al-Adha Public Holiday

Pakistan's Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, has declared an additional public holiday, on Friday, November 27, 2009, for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha public holidays.

This additional public holiday, combined with the official list of 2009 public holidays announced at the end of last year (31-Dec-2008), means that the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha public holidays in Pakistan will run for 4 days, from Friday, November 27, until Monday, November 30, 2009.
