Earlier today, the Government of Pakistan's Province of Sindh declared Friday, March 20, 2009, as a public holiday throughout the Province of Sindh in memory of Shaheed Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi alias Sooriah Shah.
According to the official communique, this public holiday will be for all offices of autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the administrative control of Government of Sindh.
However, exams schedule will not be affected by this holiday.
