UAE Declares 3-Day Public Sector Holidays

UAE President, Sheikh Khalifah bin Zayed al-Nahayan, all government institutions to close for three days starting from today, following the death of Sheikh Rached Al-Mualla, the elderly ruler of Umm al-Quwain, the smallest of the seven emirates.

A week of national mourning has furthermore been decreed.
