The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority has announced that the UAE financial markets will close on Sunday, March 8, 2009, to mark the public holiday for the anniversary of Prophet Mohammed's birthday.
Recall that, last week, the date of March 7 was declared a public holiday for the private sector (01-Mar-2009), while March 8 will be a public sector holiday (25-Feb-2009).
